Dr. Jayaraman is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine.
He received his medical degree from Madurai Medical School in India and completed his residency at New York Coney Island Hospital in 2001. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, one of the nation’s leading colleges for Pulmonary and Sleep disorders. He pursued his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from 2005-2008 and Sleep Medicine from 2008-2009 at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Jayaraman takes care of a wide spectrum of sleep disorders including insomnia, sleep disordered breathing, parasomnias, narcolepsy and sleep related movement disorders. Besides specializing in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Jayaraman also has experience in Critical Care and Pulmonary disorders. He is a well-respected physician in the hospitals in which he is affiliated with and has received many awards for his dedication and excellent patient care.
Dr. Jayaraman serves as Medical Director for multiple sleep centers in the North Houston area which are accredited by the American Association of Sleep Medicine. He is the director of the Pulmonary medicine sub-specialty for the residency program at HCA Houston Kingwood and also adjunct faculty at University of Houston College of Medicine. He is the Associate Program Director for HCA Houston, Kingwood, Pulmonary Fellowship Program.
Dr. Kesavan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He also received post graduate training in Pulmonary Transplant from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX.
Dr. Kesavan received his medical degree from Madurai Medical School in India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in the year 2000. In 2003 he completed his residency in Critical Care Medicine at Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. After completing his education, he worked as Chief of Critical Care services and consultant Pulmonologist at Apollo Specialty Hospitals in Madurai, India from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Kesavan moved to Houston, Texas in 2006 to train in Pulmonary Transplant at Baylor College of Medicine. Following the successful completion of his training, he served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for three years at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Kesavan remains clinically active in day to day patient care of all aspects of Pulmonary Medicine with special emphasis in the area of end stage pulmonary disorders given his strong back ground in the field of lung transplant. He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of many pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, alpha-1 deficiency and tuberculosis . He takes special interest with his patients to help them understand and take part in the decision making process about their health.
He is at present leading the Pulmonary Fellowship at HCA Houston, Kingwood as its Program Director. He is also adjunct faculty at University of Houston College of Medicine.
Dr. Manjunath is board certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She has more than a decade of experience managing complex patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders like sleep apnea, COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis and bronchiectasis.
Dr. Manjunath completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at University of Tennessee, Memphis. She then worked for the Veterans Administration for 5 years in Kansas. She decided to pursue additional training and moved to Houston in 2018. She completed her Sleep Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and later worked in Baytown, TX for 3 years. She decided to join our practice in 2022 to continue her passion of providing state of the art care to her patients.
Dr. Manjunath has made significant contributions in the field of sleep medicine. She authored a book chapter on "Sleep disorders in Geriatric patients" and published multiple research articles on sleep disorders. She is also involved in graduate medical education and is presently involved in teaching residents in ambulatory setting. She is also a core faculty for the Pulmonary Fellowship at HCA Houston, Kingwood.
Dr. Sarva is a highly accomplished physician and scientist who joined the group in July 2018. His areas of expertise include asthma, COPD, pneumonia, atypical and rare pulmonary infections, pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary HTN.
Dr. Sarva received his Ph.D. in Molecular Sciences from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN in 2008. He continued his training at the same institution as a resident in internal medicine and then as a fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from 2008 to 2014. In order to pursue his passion of becoming an expert in lung diseases, he applied for and was selected for a highly competitive rotating fellowship at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado and gained extensive experience in Mycobacterial and Respiratory Infectious Diseases. After completing his training in 2014,
Dr. Sarva joined as Assistant Professor at University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. He moved from academics to private practice in 2016 and has provided consultation services in Missouri and Kansas. In July of 2018 he decided to move to the warmer weather of Texas.
While working with patients is one of the most rewarding parts of his career, Dr. Sarva also expends significant effort during his non-clinical time doing research which will help the medical community give better care to their patients. He has worked at prestigious institutes like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and has been instrumental in multiple publications in the areas of COPD and lung infections. At present he is collaborating with researchers at University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio for developing newer antibiotics for difficult to treat infections.
He is the Medical Director and Chair of the Critical Care Services at HCA Houston, Kingwood. He is one of the physician leaders at HCA Houston, Kingwood and is at present the Chief of Campus and member of the Medical Executive Committee of the hospital. He is a core faculty and director of Research for the Internal Medicine program. He in addition is a core faculty for the Pulmonary Fellowship at HCA Houston Kingwood. He is also adjunct faculty at University of Houston College of Medicine.
